XChange is N&D YFC’s latest project. It’s a 7 and a half tonne lorry which has been converted. We have put a pod just smaller than the lorry unit in the back which slides in and out, creating a much bigger space for young people to hang out. Below you can see our work from idea to reality and also see some pictures of it in use! It has been fitted out with 2 32” flat screen TV’s and a projector, an Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and a PS2. It also has a stereo system built in. At the moment it is used once a week in Barton Mills. We are praying about other venues to take it to - so watch this space .
